Devlog 17-Feb - 21 - Scene poll results!

Greetings players,

Dokan here with the weekly report on the project of Succubus Crest.

This week my focus was the animated version.

Animated Version

I want to start off and apologize for the delay that we experienced on the animated version. There were several reasons why this happened. There was a delay both from my side due to my work and from my animator as we both had to experiment and find out why the files weren't working properly. After a lot of testing and some out of the box thinking, we concluded that the files were corrupted themselves and it was not a matter of coding.

‟It's funny that I found the problem by seeing that the video files weren't showing thumbnails, then a lot of stuttering right in the beginning. In the end it was an exported video error. ”

Alas, we overcame this problem and we released just yesterday the first 2 animated scenes of Succubus Crest! Those who are on the according tier, can grab the version. I would love to hear your comments and feedback, especially if you face any issue. 

Special thanks to our patron Grim, who helped with experimenting and assisted us to come on a definitive conclusion that the problem was solved.

Depending on my schedule and budget we will be updating this monthly with more scenes, and in time if everything stabilizes even releasing some of those to the free version over time!

Next version news

There was not that much progress due to my work being extremely busy, but it will get better from now on. I have finished a very complicated "mini game" and I am adding more cool features, more than usual. There’s some backtracking with certain things but at the same time plenty of story progress, explanations, and some character development. 

I felt like there must be the choice into making things right. One of the features I’m talking about is completely avoidable NTR, which was not available so far in the game. And another feature that was requested by the players. I will not spoil more for the time being. Let’s move on to poll results!
